Success – flyers were spread and Carrie from MMG didn’t have to bail me out of the clink!
Kansas City, Mo. – October 3, 2009 - To start spreading the word about the upcoming Virtual Dementia Tour, hosted by Dr. Ervin and The Center for Pharmaceutical Research, I attended the Alzheimer’s Association 2009 Memory Walk, held Saturday morning at Corporate Woods in Kansas City. Thousands of participants attended the event to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s Disease and to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. I was fortunate to recruit my Dad to join me. After a group warm-up led by fitness instructors and an opening ceremony, the walk got under way…
My walk did not follow the others’ through the Corporate Woods park. I walked throughout the parking lot, distributing flyers onto car windshields. In total, my Dad and I distributed about 600 flyers.
